10 skills for what suppliers charge you. all 10 free, nothing to sign up for ↓ nobody overcharges you in one go. It arrives a line at a time — a price that crept, a case that came short, a credit you were promised in March. This is 10 Claude and Codex skills for the money going out of the back door. the detail in them is your suppliers' own, not general advice. one national wholesaler gives you one working day to report a shortage, then treats the goods as delivered and accepted, with the time and manner of notice "of the essence". another wants damage inside 24 hours and an unattended drop the same day. one supplier can run two cut-offs, 4pm ambient and 2pm fresh meat, the commonest reason an order goes in on time and lands short. what they get you: - check what they invoiced against what you agreed, line by line - build one order sheet per supplier so nothing is forgotten or ordered twice - set par levels from what actually sells, not from fear of running out - turn a short, wrong or warm delivery into a credit note - find the credits you were promised and never got - catch the notice date before the contract renews itself - get terms that match the week your own money comes in - describe what you buy so nobody can quietly swap it - know what you threw away last week, and what it cost - grade the suppliers you already use, in numbers half of them think it through in Claude, half get it done in Codex. one folder each. a minute to install. most of what they find is arithmetic nobody has time for. a 6 x 2kg case at £54 is £4.50 a kilo; the same case cut to 6 x 1.8kg at £52 looks cheaper and is £4.81, so the rise never shows on a case price. statutory interest on a late invoice runs at 8% over the Bank Rate set the previous 30 June or 31 December, which is 11.75% through 2026, plus a fixed £40, £70 or £100 by debt size. a 2% discount for paying twenty days early costs you about 37% a year. and WRAP puts the average outlet's food waste at £10k a year, about £192 a week into a bin nobody weighs. every figure has to come off a document. a temperature written as "OK" is not a reading, and a credit somebody said they would sort is not agreed. both stay marked as holes. one reference a supplier cannot find gets the whole schedule set aside, rows that were right included. no purchasing system to buy, no buying group to join, no consultant on a day rate. you keep your suppliers — these just stop them keeping your money. 10 skills. one complete system. and I'm giving the entire thing away for free public information only, nothing invented. anything touching contracts, food safety or tax prepares the work for your accountant, solicitor or EHO to check. it never pretends to be the advice.
