The offer
The systems audit.
I spend two or three days inside your operation, count what you actually run and what it actually costs, and hand you a written plan you own outright. It starts with a free consultation, and the work starts from £150 a day.
Then from £150 a day. Every operation is a different size, so the first conversation costs nothing and is where we work out what yours actually needs — remote or on site, and how many days. Nothing is charged until the scope is agreed in writing.
If the agreed output is not delivered, the fee for that piece of work is refunded.
What you get out of it
- Automation — the jobs being done by hand every week that should not be.
- A better operation — the process fixed first, before any software is bought or built.
- Something built for you — where nothing off the shelf fits, a bespoke product that does.
What actually happens
Day one — I watch a real service. Not a meeting about how it should run. A live service, front and back, from the first delivery to the close. What gets written on paper, what gets typed twice, what gets shouted across the pass.
Day two — I count the stack. Every system you pay for, what it costs, what it was bought to do, and whether anything still uses it. Every place a number leaves one system and is re-entered into another by a person. That is where the money and the hours go.
Day three, if needed — the joins. Which of those handovers can be connected, which can be removed entirely, and which need a person because judgement is involved.
What you get at the end
- A list of every system in daily use, with what each one actually costs you a month.
- The manual joins between them, mapped — who does each one, how often, how long it takes.
- What to fix in the operation before any software is touched.
- What to connect, what to cancel, and what to leave alone.
- An order of work, cheapest wins first.
It is a document, not a slide deck, and it is yours. If you never speak to me again you can hand it to anyone and they can act on it.
What it is not
It is not a sales process for software. I am not paid commission by any supplier, and the audit frequently ends with “keep what you have, and stop paying for these two”. The principle is fixed: the software fits the operation, never the operation fitting the software.
Who it is for
Independent restaurants, bars, hotels and venues in the UK running four or more systems that do not talk to each other. If you have one till and a notebook, you do not need me yet.
Terms
No contracts. No hidden fees. No lock-in. If the agreed output is not delivered, the fee for that piece of work is refunded.
