hospitality does not earn evenly and never has. six weeks carry the year, then January arrives and the December wage bill is still going out. the mistake is not December, it is that December gets planned in November and January gets planned in January, when the money has already gone. this is 10 Claude and Codex skills for the whole cycle.

what they get you:

- the festive menu and price that sells in September
- get the December money in before December, lawfully
- staff the peak without paying for empty hours
- get every choice in before the night, so nobody waits
- plan the quiet month in November, when you still have cash
- order for a peak you have never had, without burying cash in a cellar
- work out whether opening on the bank holiday actually pays
- the plan for a heatwave and for a washout, written before either
- outside tables that are legal, safe and worth the money
- what the season really earned, in numbers you can act on next year

here is the sharpest fact in the pack, and almost nobody knows it. the calorie labelling regulations exempt a menu that runs for fewer than 30 consecutive days. a festive menu from mid-November to New Year is longer than that. so a business over the employee threshold loses the exemption on exactly the menu it prints the most of.

on staffing: guaranteed hours, reasonable notice of shifts and short-notice payments are in the Employment Rights Act 2025, and they are not in force. the government's own timeline puts them in the 2027 group and says the timings will be updated after consultation. the pack states that with the date and carries a rule forbidding any file from implying otherwise, because half the advice circulating treats them as current.

and one that costs real money quietly: the minimum wage record retention period is six years, not three. regulation 59 was substituted from 1 April 2021, and the original "as made" page still shows three, which is what most people read.

half of them think it through in Claude, half get it done in Codex. one folder each. a minute to install.

no December template copied off another pub, no agency staffing markup, no consultant's seasonal review in March when it is too late to matter.

10 skills. one complete system.
and I'm giving the entire thing away for free

public information only, nothing invented. no December uplift, no-show rate or January decline figure is stated for your venue, because no such figure exists. anything touching employment, tips, licensing or food labelling prepares the work for your HR adviser, accountant, licensing officer or EHO to check. it never pretends to be the advice.
